Internet Explorer 7 32-Bit

Internet Explorer 7

You want it to be easier and safer. If you did not expect to see another version of Internet Explorer in the second half of the next Ice Age, Microsoft will come into the world with a new version of its great browsing application.

Many Internet users have been waiting for Microsoft to update their technology for a long time, and elsewhere they are looking at Firefox.

Now the king of the great and evil world of browsers is not interested in seeing his crown wrestling, but can he do enough to get back the dessert?

For starters, a smooth new interface is definitely a step forward.

In fact, Microsoft has removed the menu bar, hiding all the tools and functions in a series of simple icons located in the upper right corner of the interface.

This allows you to view pages in a very large viewing area. IE finally decided to support tab browsing as well. This includes a new tab button for immediate opening, as well as a smart Quick Tab button that opens thumbnails of all tabs on one screen, and unlike Firefox, IE 7 actually has a close button on each tab.

You can even save a group of tabs as your homepage until it all starts. We also love the print preview tool that adjusts pages to your paper. 7 has improved the way RSS integration is integrated. Each time you come across a website that supports RSS, the toolbar icon turns orange.

Click on it and you will be taken to a page with all the feeds for that website. Just click on this feed subscription link to add it to your favorites.

You can also order by clicking the lowercase icon on the left. Unlike Firefox, there is no drop-down menu for each item in the stream.

The Favorites Center, which you click on the uppercase icon, is shared between Favorites, Feeds, and History.

Security is usually one of the vulnerabilities inherent in IE.

In addition to the pop-up blocker, version 7 also releases anti-phishing filters. For testing, we found a known phishing site published on Phishtank. Disappointingly, filters do not report most of them. Phishing protection may not be the strength of IE 7, but at least the browser includes the SSL 2 security protocol.

0 and 3.0 and TLS 1.0, just like Firefox.

Despite all the improvements, IE is still not perfect. Like Firefox, IE cannot run Acid2 tests and does not even support the latest standards.

We noticed that IE experienced slowness and drag when opening new tabs, Tools section, and applying new settings. You can add a number of search bar providers and add-ons from Microsoft websites, but the number is much smaller than the Mozilla Firefox extension.

Also, IE 7 is actually limited to those with XP SP2, and for some reason you should turn off your antivirus and restart your computer for proper installation (function () {(‘review-app-page-desktop’);} );
